Host Maya Weeks is a white settler writer, artist, and geographer. Some of her recent work deals with plastic pollution, feminist political economy, and environmental justice. She lives and works on unceded Chumash and Salinan land. When we opened this space it was to meet a community need we could not know for certain existed. Best intentions and expectations aside, it’s gatherings like these that legitimize the space as a true offering to those that seek a non retail based existence or experience. We hope to see you at this or sometime in the future. Our next show opening will be on December 2nd if you are planning ahead.
