CCC ARTIST RESIDENCY — FALL 2026

Hello—and thanks for making it this far.

And for your interest.

The only reason we’re still here is because we’ve trusted our gut, kept things simple, and tried to make something that feels real and achievable—even while taking risks, even while trying things that don’t always make sense.

With that in mind, we’re excited to announce the Fall 2026 Artist-in-Residence program at Cruise Control Contemporary.

This is a one-month residency based in Cambria, California.

Full disclosure: the space is humble.

A small, hand-built wooden tiny home set up a creek road in the countryside.

It’s private, quiet, and sits near a small river, with ample outdoor space to work.

We will provide:

housing and…….

    •    A $1,000 materials budget

The residency will likely take place in September or October 2026.

Applicants should plan to have their own transportation.

The space is small—so no dogs, partners, or families.

At the end of the residency, we’ll present a solo exhibition of the work at CCC.

We’ll review applications carefully—it may take some time.

And like everything, details are subject to change.

If this sounds right, send us a note.

We’d like to hear from you.
